Hi, I’m Kaela.

Kaela is an award-winning journalist based in Washington, D.C. She holds a B.A. in journalism and anthropology from American University and was a Poynter-Koch Media and Journalism Fellow. 

She's written for publications including Street Sense Media, the Washington Blade, Washington City Paper, DCist and The DC Line.
